As she explains, “scientific findings in health and wellbeing often apply to adults – and biomechanists spend most of their time studying elite athletes, yet it’s widely accepted that how kids’ shoes fit makes a huge difference to how their young feet develop.” FitFlop spent two years in development to optimally engineer the new iQushion range - for developing foot freedom, balance, movement and coordination, and a side of fun.

Recognizing feet ‘in development’ need shoes that deliver protection without interference, FitFlop’s new superlight unisex kids’ sandals have a wider stable base to support balance and coordination, with super-natural contouring, so feet have room to move and space to grow. Wearing them is meant to be like being barefoot (but on a nonstop bed of clean, soft, ground) allowing kids' feet to move freely, muscles are worked naturally, and proprioception, balance and coordination are developed.
