Long walks and night cravings
I don’t know if I already mentioned it, but I decided to write down everything I eat for first seven days here. No counting calories, no judging, just eating normally, but everything must be written down. I also note down the time next to each meal.
I want it to be real, so I will maybe count down calories at the end of the week. But mostly I can look at everything and see if it’s too much, and when does it happen during the day.
Ekhm, let me tell you, after 1st day I was really on track, until evening came and I went out to buy some sweets for the weekend. I ended up eating almost all of them myself, in 30 mins or so. I ate two chocolate bars, and 4 out of 5 milk cookies. And I shoot my progress in the knee.
I decided this needs to change, and I will stick to fruits from now on. It will help me not to f..k up progress, and also prevent me from getting diabetes. Today I already had a vegan raspberry tart ( c’mon it’s Sunday), and fruit bowl.
Fitness progress
I am really proud in turn of my walking progress. I am counting my steps since a year or so. Last winter I has trouble even passing 8000 steps daily. Probably because I was more tired off by commuting every day. In summer I usually rebound and do around 13-15 thousand . And it’s my pleasure to say I am almost sticking to it so far! I am on 10 - 12 thousand since some time. Plus short workouts ! Adding a walk in the morning was a game changer, and something I could not do if I had to commute.
I am visiting my favorite park, watching the stream, breathing in cold air, and occasionally drinking coffee. It’s pleasure enough I really want to do it!
