Ingredients: 1 pound of white fish fillets, cut into strips. 1 cup of all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon of baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. 1 cup of cold beer. 1 egg. Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer basket.
Instructions: Preheat your air fryer to 400F 200C. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the cold beer and egg until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until you have a smooth batter. Dip each fish strip into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the battered fish strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don't touch each other. Lightly spray or brush the fish sticks with cooking spray or oil to help them crisp up. Air fry the fish sticks at 400F 200C for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through cooking for even browning. Remove the fish sticks from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving. Serve your healthier beer-battered fish sticks with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
