These jumbo cod fish fingers are a delightful twist on the classic fish finger recipe. With a crunchy breadcrumb coating and tender cod inside, they make for a satisfying meal or appetizer.
Ingredients: 4 jumbo cod fillets, cut into fingers. 1 cup breadcrumbs. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 2 eggs, beaten. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. Vegetable oil, for frying.
Instructions: Put breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. Coat each cod finger in flour, then dip it in beaten eggs. Finally, cover it with the breadcrumb mixture and press it down gently to stick. Warm up the vegetable oil in a big pan over medium-low heat. Fry the cod fingers one at a time for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Take it out of the oil and let it drain on paper towels. Serve hot with tartar sauce or any other sauce you like to dip.

I feel very lucky to have fingers and a well developed brain.
I sometimes wonder what other animals could accomplish if they had a body that could do what mine can do. Like, fish can do some really cool stuff. What tools would they manufacture to accomplish their little fish goals of they had the means to do so? They already do such cool things.
