#fish venting

So, apparently it's not uncommon in the sushi industry to cut the raw fish up while the fish is still alive, and serve the fish still alive while you eat it. I've never heard of this until today, and someone posted a video on IG of the poor fish looking at the camera and breathing as they ate it. I feel overwhelming mortified... I understand it's the chef's way of showing how skilled they are, but... No thank you.
