Since moving to Scotland, I can confirm that Scottish shortbread biscuits are the best biscuit of all time. Now I just have to figure out how to make kelp cakes !

Made them by myself (except oven stuff) and they came out pretty good which is honestly a bit of a surprise

and also Paani patties

I’m a bit of an awful chef, and I’m a total dummy when it comes to cooking. I once gave my entire cooking class food poisoning.

Fortunately, I’m really good at making biscuits. So I’ve decided to try and make fish biscuits.

Here is my recipe:

🐟- 125g butter

🐟- 1/2 cup sugar

🐟- 1/2 cup brown sugar

🐟- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

mix mix mix

🐟- 1 egg

Mix mix mix

🐟- 1, 3/4 (one and three quarters) cup of flour

🐟- pinch of salt

mix all that together until the texture is consistent, and roll it out on a flat surface (with a rolling pin)

Then take a fish shaped cookie cutter. I didn’t have one of those, so I made one out of an empty milk cartoon

Here is my very dodgy cookie cutter.

I used the cookie cutter to make the shapes and placed them on a tray in the oven.

I baked the biscuits on moderate heat for 15 mins.

And this is how they look! I ate one and they were pretty tasty! They don’t look exactly like fish biscuits but I tried :)

I also made some Paani Patties using the same recipe, just adding nuts and sprinkles (I didn’t put bugs in them)
