✊🏾28 DAYS OF BLK THEYSTORY🖤 @ackeefruit here to honor the stunning work of @sondraperry02 🖤 WHY I NEEDED THIS: sondra perry's work is wildly inspiring. her work reminds me that there is a particular capacity that video editing and altering technologies have to express the fractures, dislocations and exhaustive layering that i experience as a black femme. it's so rigorous and so imaginative and so immersive in mediums that usually make me feel mad alienated and frustrated by the bloated whiteness and pseudo-intellectuallism.
