Samus vs firefly pros and cons
Inspired by a few posts that went 'hey, what are some gacha matchups they could do' I'm gonna make a pros and cons list of Samus aran vs. Firefly from hsr. A week late probably but whatever.
Disclaimer, this is my opinion, and I'm open to hear reasons why the matchup is bad actually which is apparently the general consensus.
Pros!
1. I am a fan of both franchises
2. I want a Samus run back
3. More gacha characters that aren't just the mc is good
4. Samus has obtained some very cool tools in her arsenal. The phase shift, melee counter, and her final transformation in dread are all stuff I'd love to see in action here.
Con
1. Fireflys movwset is a bit odd? So, basic SAM is fine, kicks and dive bombs and fire. But...when she transforms with the swords, her main option is to...sorta loop de loop and they explode? I dunno, feels like a weird thing.
2. Stat stomp, I think. You guys don't love those
