Could you draw Silverbell Cookie trying to care of the twins for the first time? [Also, what would his reaction be. One minute he's just a knight on patrol. The next he's now basically a single parent from his, enemies to lovers to probably enemies again, situationship. Also how is he going to explain this to the other knights.]
Oh trust me Silverbell had his hands FULL these little trouble makers kept him up day and night. But more than anything he missed the fact he’d probably never properly see Black Sapphire again not with the upcoming war and their allegiances set clearly on opposing sides.
He tried hiding the truth of who the other parent was for the longest time, after all he didn’t need his fellow knights questioning his loyalty. He loves his babies dearly and is conflicted on his love for their father.
But he’s not alone by the time the twins show up the gingergang has yet to visit the spire so he’s got a community in White Lily’s friends. Though after the spire things are a bit tense…
And if you’re wondering if he tells Lily his closet friend the true father of his children you’d be wrong! Not even Lily can get the full scoop til it’s way later.
Honestly Bell is whole mess after Elder Faerie croaks he’s definitely struggling a lot with his choices past and present. He’s not feeling it.

Sorry if this ask is very late but was Black sapphire freaked out when his dough-nymphs came out looking like little grubs or did he already knew what faerie babies looked like beforehand?
He had already seen Bell’s baby pics as Capple had found them snooping to embarrass her new friend. You’d think them being half the size of regular new doughs would make it easier to get out but nope still nearly tore him apart.
Honestly Sapph was relieved to see the little grubs instead of an angry little bat face. This meant the lie of them being his could be contained longer. Though they were unusual for Fae grubs, being too saturated and much to long.
You see faes used to be colourful but due to the constant adding of silver around the kingdom due to enforcing the beasts did not escape, most fae are not dull and silver by default. (Mercurial Knight being the eldest non royal fae alive used to be very colourful). The obvious very deep indigo tint would raise suspicion but Bell is good at avoiding drama when he wants to (like any good fae he loves a little gossip), so it’s mainly avoided. Till they’re molting where it’s so clear with the little bat nose that they are not fully fae.
Considering how Silverbell and Sugarlfy are close enough to have one of Silverbells dough-nymphs be named after her, do the blackbell twins have play dates with Iced vovo? :D
Well yes Silverbell snd Sugarfly are close because… they’re siblings twins to be exact. But yes the Blackbell babies do play with their cousin Vovo, much to Pavlova’s dismay.
Look he doesn’t have an issue with his brother-in-law he thinks Bell is a swell guy… it’s their other father he doesn’t like. And well Sugarfly is much the same but they can’t rip Vovo away from her cousins so begrudgingly everyone is civil and not addressing the purple shaded elephant in the room.
Black Sapphire is possibly the last person Sugarfly wanted her brother to fall head over heels for, and well have niblings by jam with.
