Fintan had a lot running through her head the last few weeks - there wasn't a single moment that went by where her mind wouldn't find an excuse to worry about someone. The fact that she hadn't seen Mason for a while made her slightly sick to her stomach, this being taken as a good reason to worry. Drakon had left her only a day after making a promise he'd be there for her and the wounds were still raw... On top of finding out Luna had done the same and Stephan... Finding out that Stephan in the time he was missing had planned on killing himself... The little dragon just couldn't handle not knowing where Mason was, every thought she formed about him was a worst case scenario. Fintan quickly made her way to Remington with a troubled speed in her steps, mind clouding with fear and anxiety. When she reached her loves door she hesitated a moment before giving a few knocks. She was on edge was just praying there would be an answer. "M-Mason..? A-Are you there..? I-I haven't s-seen you around for a w-while so I-I thought I'd check up..." she trailed off. Fintan held her breath and waited. She didn't want to lose anyone else - have anyone else detach from everyone and be lost in the dark of their thoughts. Her hands trembled a bit.

Fintan stood at the window in the school library peering out at the street that was now lit up with sunlight - yet even though the nightmare was over she couldn't feel happy... There was very little room for that now, instead joy was replaced with feelings of heartbreak - abandonment... Her heart was broken. It shattered that morning when she found out that Drakon had left - suddenly - no goodbyes or last words. Just gone. The only other dragon she had ever met aside from her father and the headmaster, this wonderful beautiful man that was like the only family she had ever had... Fintan had no idea why or when or where he went. No idea how to contact him to find him again some time in the future. There were no tears that escaped her eyes, all she gave was a distraught stare with hollow empty eyes.

Slowly but surely she slipped back into the shell that she and others had worked so hard to bring her out of. On top of Drakon, her dear friend Luna had done the same. A bitter sense of lonliness returned with an icy cold draft that crept through her body. Alone again, just like when her father left her. Only when he left she never had the chance to truly see him again before he died. No... She was alone again - she was orphaned again. Fintan let out a breath that weighed heavy in the air, like the giving in of a muscle that had been so tense for so long. She heard footsteps approach carefully behind her but she did not turn to meet whoever it was - she just wanted them to go away. What was the point of making friends if they would leave you all alone in the end. The steps stopped directly behind her and her gaze never broke from the window. "Please leave me alone..." she asked with a soft but cold voice.

Fintan was so worried about Stephan... She knew he wasn't doing well and this on top of him seeming to disappear on her made her sick with guilt. All she could think about was how he lost his arm because she was being weak - because she didn't know how to stand up and fight... She had been searching all over the school and even the town and there was no sight of him. There were moments of hopelessness when her lip would quiver and her eyes would mist, but she refused to cry. This time Fintan needed to be strong for both of them. Today she had spent about three or four hours around the town looking for him to no avail, it made her feel sick to her stomach... If he wanted to be found he would be easy to find, she just wanted her little lion man back in her arms safe and sound.

It was only on her path home that she caught his scent, eagerly jumping to follow it through the wind until finally she could see him... Her beautiful kitsune with sunshine hair. "Stepha~n!" she called out as her heart swelled with joy, running over to him. When she reached him she brought him into a tight embrace unable to fight off the tears of joy that fell from her eyes. "S-Stephan! I-I was so w-worried a-and I couldn't find you a-and.." she had to cut herself off as she buried her face into his chest. "Please don't d-disappear like that again..." she whispered with a small quiver in her voice.
