Yogurt making this morning.
Went into oven at 6:10 am. I will check again at 10:10 am after 4 hours. I did the finger temperature test. I left finger in milk for 10 seconds and that told me itβs not too hot.

How to Check Doneness of Meat: The Finger Test
Back again to talk about Grilling Season. Just wanted to share with you a handy way to check the doneness of meat. It will allow you to check your meat without having to slice into it and loosing all the tasty juices. What you're gonna do is press the meat with your finger tips (caution: it may be very hot). Then compare the feeling of the meat with the following Finger Test.
The best way to administer the Finger Test is to relax your hand (very important) with your palm facing you. Take the index finger of your other hand and push on the fleshy area between the thumb and the base of the palm. The series of pictures below indicates how to test for different doneness of meat. For the most accurate results, put the bottom of your thumb onto the nail of your finger of desired doneness, and keep your hand relaxed. The firmness of the fleshy area between your thumb and base of the palm will indicate the doneness.
With practice, you will become more confident in cooking meat. And with confidence, you will always be able to cook your meat to your liking. Happy Grilling!
