Love is about acceptance. It’s about not being afraid of the things that challenge us and not being afraid to change. Change is growth and it can help many people overcome obstacles in life that hinder them from being who they truly want to be. There is no way of escaping fear. The best way is to find your inner survivor and face it head on. When I first started nude modeling I was AFRAID to put my body on display for the world, to judge, or to accept. Say hello to my first ever yoga progress photo 😍! The second photo is from July, and the first photo is from yesterday. I'm finally connecting to my core in this pose, which is like...one of the most important parts when it comes to lifting your hips and squeezing your legs up 😂. (Thanks @ab_asanas). But there is a lot more to this pose than physical strength. For a LONG time in my yoga practice, I just "accepted" that some poses, like Crow, were "not for me." This absolutely stunted my growth in yoga. Let me tell ya, stories of "I can't" hold back more yoga practices than weakness or inflexibility ever do!
