Applejack has found her way into the Cottage living room! This is one of my favorite locations to photograph characters in the Winter Village. I love the way the warm glow of the fireplace illuminates the room. And the pony. It's adorable and I love it! Old West Sheriff Earl used to only drink sarsaparilla until he met his new pal policeman Officer Nick, who introduced him to some crazy new world 'sodee waters' at the candy stand. And now Applejack is telling him about cider and Earl is losing his guldern everlovin' mind thinking about all these new beverage possibilities! He also noticed Applejack is not wearing her trademark hat so is offering his until she finds hers. It's like Article 7 Subsection C9 of the Code of the Old West Sheriff says- "Always offer a pony your hat if she teaches you about new beverage choices." And yes, that is how sarsaparilla is spelled.
