Prosecutor Ito/Satoru Roppo (Mega Man Battle Network 6) defending Doctrine Dark (Street Fighter EX/Fighting EX Layer), but Holger bluntly admitting guilt anyways.

I pictured that scene of Game Changer with Ito and D. Dark.

I did said that Ito wouldn't defend Holger because he'll probably draw the line at murder BUT Honestly, these two are worthy of interactions. Serious and funny ones.

While making the drawing, I had the idea of making this an actual animatic. But that's for another moment.

Have a extra that I did drew that Holger was wearing a suit. Unfinished due to Holger's outfit being obscured by the speech bubble anyways.

Doctrine Dark's birthday was on December 3th. So yeah, I am so late for that. Sorry Holger.

I had the idea months earlier in fact. I wanted to use poppies not only because of its meaning of remembrance, but also as a good representation of Holger's fallen comrades, taking account the origin. It being the poem "In Flanders' Fields", of poppies growing on top of the bodies of the fallen soldiers.

Related to Doctrine Dark, not only the red color of the poppies are striking and can have a dark undertone, it also showcases Doctrine Dark's reason for his desire of murdering Rolento and Guile. In order to avenge his fallen comrades. (It is a tragic backstory and I tried to highlight that with the coloring...)

I thought that the song "Loš je dan" (in particular this cover) is really fitting for Doctrine Dark, given the lyrics has some stuff that can be co-opted between Doctrine Dark and Guile. (I have plans for an animatic with that song)

I had to use JustSketchMe for the pose since it was a pose and angle (Especially the angle) I haven't drawn before. I'll admit, I'm not proud of that fact, And I think I should've done better... But at least I like how I tried to represent my idea for the drawing.
