I think, and forgive me every Obito lover he's my princess with a mental disorder but. He's selfish, Obito as a character is very selfish, so I doubt option A would ever come to pass, but you know what's more? I think he would also have a slight simmering anger over Kakashi not being in love with him anymore, nothing too overt or exaggerated, more a "Of Course What Was I Expecting" sorta annoyance, even if he himself doesn't love Kakashi like (but he loves the attention). For option B, I think (mostly because I'm weak to good endings) Naruto would be too nosy and would essentially force one more job upon Iruka as a sorta Hokage unofficial helper (because lord knows Hiruzen left at least 3 decades of work pilled up and Shizune Has been begging for his help ever since she learned how good with paper work he is), so they end up interacting a lot even if it's on a work setting. Also helps because Iruka has literally zero qualms about scolding Kakashi when he tries to sneak out. Iruka and Obito's interactions would be..... Odd. Iruka is far from a person who holds a grudge but also Obito was working towards world destruction and almost got it. Obito looks at Iruka and doesn't understand what's so special about him, doesn't get how Kakashi fell in love with him and why Naruto holds this guy's opinion to the highest degree of importance. So their interactions would be very minimal and very awkward.
You put it perfectly into words for me yeah. Obito is a deeply selfish character to the point of selflessness so him being confused on Irukas seemgly big role in both his bestfriend (and maybe crush?) and the kid who would have been HIS little brother would tick him off. He wouldn't be able to comprehend it.
And iruka well, he is literally just trying to survive the paperwork while also having obito looking at him like he personally spit on his morning coffee. It would be an interesting dynamic to witness, specially after Iruka becomes director of the academy so now he actually has a say in what happends in council meetings. That would be a shit show to witness.
