ok no but seriously. in  ‘ where is my mind ’  coach lawrence remarks that  “ sat season. somebody snaps every year ”  ( to paraphrase ). to the best of my recollection, if you take your sat with school, it’ll probably be in late spring  ( i took my act with school in late may, so by saying  ‘ season ’  he’s probably saying that the school arranges a class-wide test date, tho i dont actually know if they do that with the sat and not just the act ), although ofc u can take it any time of the year. in theory he could be talking about an autumn sat date. also, schools often put on two plays; a fall play and a spring musical  ( r&j and stompin’ in the rain, respectively ). we know that stompin’ is far enough into its development to have the props all ready, which puts s2 in mid to late spring  ( sat season ). i’m pretty sure someone confirms that jim went into the darklands in semester 2  ( although my sister suggests a 45-15 schedule, which would make a load of sense considering jim’s mention about midterms after the play ). conclusion ?  it’s always spring in arcadia oaks ??? i have no goddamn idea how this fucking high school functions. also ley lines and aliens.
