Peter being rlly far away from smth and the batfam are freaking out and hes like "chillax bro I can make it" and hes like a full 2 minute dead print from Cass (their fastest besides peter) and they are losing their MARBLES
Que peter busting out w his (forgettable but canon) enhanced speed (think it tops out at like 250-300???) And fucjing. FLOORS it
But he can't, like, stop properly and he just. Slams into either a wall OR a super or smth
OR OR he is able to stop, but it literally melts his shoes and rips up his feet horrendously
Tims like "wtf peter!?! You didnt say you had super speed!?"
And peter, with his feet actively bleeding and smelling like burnt rubber from the friction of stopping, first priority is correcting tim
"Well, super speed is a bit of a stretch. Enhanced is more accurate because, like, the flash way is faster than me, yknow?"
Duke stares. "You... are aware hes literally the exception?"

Scene I wrote for my fic Wolf Totem on ao3 inspired by the art reference by @albanenechi and now have finally drawn out. Hope to have the second part of that scene drawn out soon 😉
Also my bad attempt at a background aka Kwei's ship.
And this is the full view design of the Quillara skull. The base I took from the skull of a maned wolf and just added a horn and spines.
Finally drew something for Riftside Angel as well. This is a scene from the as-of-yet-to-be-written chapter for it, where Silco shows what he found to Vander/tries to recover his Spooky encounter. I also liked the topmost panel enough to include it as a separate piece as well.
Since I don't have this scene written down yet, I'll give you the said Spooky Scene below instead:
Suddenly, he heard something.
Silco freezes, listening closely; for a moment all his ears could catch was his own rapid heartbeat, and the distant ambiance of the active mine section.
Then, he heard it again.
Scratching.
Scratching, on the front door that used to lead out from the office, where patients would come in. Silco slowly turns to look at it, backing away towards the opening behind him.
He could hear….footsteps.
Something….something was breathing.
Raspy, pained exhales, behind the door.
"W-who’s there?!”
No response, but Silco could see an odd, purplish glow emanating from the cracks, before disappearing. The sound vanishes as well, almost if whatever had been behind that door, had walked away again. He should leave, he should just follow after Ran and head back—
There was a shattering noise, and Silco snaps his head towards the corridor door, his heart leaping into his throat. He could hear that sound again, the raspy breathing, the slow footsteps, the scratching sound like someone was dragging something sharp alongside the walls.
Silco tries to move, but his body had seized up, frozen in terror.
The footsteps came closer, and closer.
Move
He could see a hint of that glow starting to appear onto the open doorway, the pained wheezes getting worse.
Move
A shadow appears, hunched over, the rasping breath now so close it was making Silco’s own throat dry out and ache.
Move move move move move move
The purple glow was spreading now; it slithered alongside the walls and the floor like growing veins of an infection overtaking every surface they touched, sneaking towards him inch by inch..... just like what he’d seen in his nightmare, Silco realizes. The footsteps halt, as if whatever was approaching the room had stopped moving. The glow fades as well, for a moment the only light in the setting being his own.
Then, something grabs the doorway with a sudden, startling sound that echoes around him, it looked like a—a hand.
A hand made out of glowing crystals, with sharp claws digging into the old wood, leaving deep gashes onto it. Silco drops his light in a panic, backing away against the wall as a terrified whimper leaves his mouth.
A figure pulls itself into the room slowly, covered by a tattered hood. It looked human but Silco doubted it was, the way it was staggering and wheezing made him think of some sort of…
The entity turns - or rather snaps - towards him, a glowing eye, and suddenly, the figure seems to…teleport closer in a whip of purple light. Silco finally manages to bring his body to move, quickly turning around and scrambling back into the hole, trying to escape from whatever the hell that thing was.
Something grabs him without warning, making Silco stumble to the ground,. He turns to look in horror, realizing the entity had struck its deadly looking claws on his ankle, causing him to bleed. SIlco attempts to kick the hand off him, feeling it try to pull him back in, like a vengeful ghost.
"I-I’m sorry I took—I’m just—I wanted to bring them to Vander so he could—!”
There is a distinct pause as the pulling motion stops, the intense purple glow starting to die down. The claw holding onto him still doesn’t let go, and Silco half expects the ghost to straight up slice off his foot.
"……Close….it……”
"W-what?”
"……Close…..it….”
The distant, vaguely familiar voice repeats, seeming like it was spoken from miles away.
"Close what, I don’t understand?”
The claws press into his ankle hard now, and Silco let’s out a pained cry as the sharp edges dig straight into his flesh, likely reaching bone.
"CLOSE THIS GAP.”
The voice now bellows in his mind with strange urgency, and Silco finally manages to pry himself free, quickly making his way through the narrow opening, ignoring the pain and likely trail of blood he was leaving behind from his wounds.
The glow from behind him eventually disappears into the darkness, and Silco enters back out into the relative safety of the active mine’s warm lights, collapsing to the ground and scrambling away from the crack, his chest heaving in terror. The journal he’d picked up was sitting beside him on the ground, and for a moment all Silco could do was stare at the small opening, expecting the ghost to chase him.
It had to be a ghost, right?
What else could that have been??
Silco didn’t typically believe in ghosts, but—
"H-hey, you alright?”
Ran appears in his peripheral vision looking concerned, their eyes widening as they spot the deep gashes in his ankle.
"Whoa, what the hell happened?!”
"D-Don’t go back in there, Ran. Whatever you do.”
Silco manages to stutter out, picking up the journal as if in trance, holding it to his chest. Ran looks between him and the crack dubiously, swallowing down hard. The fear on his face had to be convincing, judging from the following nod.
not gonna a pretend I know anything about comic creation and the like, but this is a scene from my fic that I thought was silly enough to give an artist rendition.

The Segyein had never cared much for the old stories of their pet humans—amusing at best, or useful as inspiration for new lyrics to fuel their entertainment.
The ability to sing—something humans were both treasured and envied for—was the one thing the aliens could never truly replicate.
They used it for everything—for mourning, for mating, for war, for worship. Even in suffering, they sang. It was as if melody was stitched into their biology, like a second language.
The Segyein had long tried to dissect it, to isolate what made a lower human voice stir something even in superior alien ears.
No matter how advanced their technology or how many times they tried to replicate, it always end up a failure.
So they claimed the songs instead, paraded the singers, and built empires of applause atop borrowed voices.
They prized their pets’ voices as if they were their own to exploit, profit from, and enjoy.
But as the 50th season of Alien Stage unfolds with an unexpected twist, they will at last discover why, in Earth’s seafaring past, even the bravest sailors feared a siren’s song.
They want a song of the Earth?
Wish to hear the melody spoken about in humanity's history for throusands of years before aliens even came?
Want to know the might of the lyrics no longer sung? Of the tales of men and women that shaped their own world? Of heroes and monsters? Of the ancient so-called 'magic' Earth's books spoke of?
