These tshirts are so fun to make! Here's how we paint them: first, I trace our FH logo design on a hard-plastic sheet. Then, I cut out the shape, and we tape it over with duct tape to make it extra hefty and secure. Next, we lay all the shirts flat on a tarp so that the ground doesn't get dirty, and then place the plastic stencil on top of a shirt. After the stencil is rested on the shirt, and making sure it's straight etc, I paint on the shirt! The bit of the shirt where the stencil covers is not painted, creating a "negative" design where the entire shirt is painted except our logo. We think it looks pretty cool - especially since we use a combo of white & blue paint! Fun Fact: Zero drew the logo for our band (although if you know our band, you probably know that already!). Zero does all the graphic design for our band, including logos, album covers, merch, etc. When he was designing our band's logo, he first started with sketching the letters on paper. He started with the "F" first, and created a gothic looking F that resembled an axe/sword in a lot of ways. From there, he made sketches for the remaining letters, and came up with the idea to combine the T and the H to form a cross with arrows. The blue shapes behind our logo came last - they were not as intuitive to draw initially, but Zero knew the logo needed something extra to help balance it out and make it look finished. After about 30 drafts, we ended up here!
