- after the attack on Tenebrae, access to Insomnia becomes limited, and Salvia stops bringing Stella to visit. Stella still sends post cards back and forth to Noctis sometimes.

- when Stella is 14, Ardyn kills her mother and sets it up to look like an escalation from Niflheim in the growing conflict with Lucis (Ardyn has figured out who Salvia is and considers her a traitor for supporting Regis). he does not realize Stella is on her way home from school at the time he stabs Salvia. he sets fire to the house and leaves while Stella is still inside.

- Stella survives the blaze by jumping out of her bedroom window and running to hide in the woods at the outskirts of the city. upon hearing the news of Salvia's death, and that Stella is missing, Regis sends a group of glaives (including Nyx, who Stella comes to idolize) to find her and bring her to Insomnia. Regis then essentially adopts Stella, and sets her up with a secured apartment across the hall from Noct's.

- thus begins the infamous reign of terror from young!Stella, who acts like an angry feral cat for the first several months she's there. Stella hates the city, hates her school uniform, and hates whoever killed her mother (she did not see Ardyn, she just knows someone set the fire). she also needs attention but is too stubborn to admit it, so goes around purposely causing trouble instead. the only two people who are 100% safe from being bitten or otherwise attacked at this point are Noctis & Ignis.

- Stella slowly starts to accept help, and lets go of some of her anger over time. she develops a crush on Ignis, who is four years older than her and already dating Gladio, by age 15 (cue Gladio officially becoming her 'arch nemesis', lol). at age 16, Stella gets a part time job as a barista at a local cat cafe. she works there (badly) up until the time of the roadtrip.

- Stella is 18 when the events of the game begin. she is still crushing on Ignis, who by this point has acknowledged her affection, but is still technically with Gladio (he & Gladio both eventually chose to put their responsibilities first), and more concerned with his job and preparing for the journey.

- the events of the game take place mostly the same up until Chapter 8, which is when Stella has a one-on-one confrontation with Ardyn shortly before the group is supposed to get on the boat. Ardyn reveals his relation to her, and tries to manipulate Stella into turning on Noctis, which doesn't work. Ardyn then reveals that he's the one who killed her mother, and Stella attacks him in a fit of rage. she thinks she's killed him, but Ardyn gets back up and attacks her instead. he leaves her there, and the others find her.

- due to her injuries, Stella ends up staying behind at Cape Caem while the others sail to Altissia. she is not present for any of the events that unfold there, but finds out shortly afterwards from the radio. during the long train ride that the bros endure on the way to Gralea, Stella has traveled back home to Lestallum with Cor, where she joins the Kingsglaive (like in Comrades).

- post-Chapter 13 of the game, Ignis, Gladio, and Prompto reunite with Stella in Lestallum. Stella is living in an apartment above a grocery store owned by a kind old woman who knew Stella when she was younger. this becomes a base of operations for the group during the 10 Years of Darkness, and is where Ignis finally rests and recovers from his ordeal in Altissia.

- cue the love triangle again, lol. Gladio & Stella are both determined to help Ignis, and refuse to leave his side, which slowly changes the situation. as the years go by, the three of them become an established polycule, with Gladio and Stella both being romantically & sexually attracted to Ignis, but only sexually attracted to each other. Ignis loves both of them.

- Stella is 28, and a couple months pregnant with Lucina (Ignis' daughter), when Noctis wakes up and emerges from the Crystal.

- Stella had been sending Noctis post cards via Umbra while he was in the Crystal. she told him about the baby, and as a result, he asks her not to come with them into the Citadel for the final confrontation with Ardyn. Stella stays behind, and ruins Ardyn's plan to kill her once she'd reached the throne room. Ardyn sends a couple of red giants after Stella instead, and Nyx's spirit appears to help her fight them off. at the same time, Noctis is in his final battle with Ardyn, about to sacrifice himself.

- because the purpose of the prophecy was to end the Lucis Caelum bloodline, and Stella was still alive at the time it would have come true, Noctis doesn't die. he wakes up at Dawn uninjured, after having started to ascend but being turned away by Regis & Salvia in the afterlife. Nyx's soul has finally gotten to rest, and he reunites with Lunafreya instead.
