Today's (well yesterday for most of you by now) the 25th Anniversary of my favorite Final Fantasy game! Decided to draw the two characters I adore the most, Freya and Vivi!
In all honesty, I just love how the cute character designs and storybook style setting just clashes with the game's themes of loss, grief, death, and what it means to have a soul.
I would've done a full drawing with color and shading but alas I had a DnD game I couldn't miss right after work. Ah well, maybe later this week. And just may do a playthrough of FF IX this month as well 😉💕
