Okay so I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about this as A Bottom who loves using titles to facilitate a power exchange. Mostly this just suits Zim so fucking well like it’s unbelievable how into this he gets, and not even really in the role play kind of way, like actual power exchange — perceived or intentional.

It’s no secret Zim likes being in control. He’s a goddamn control freak about everything, little stuff and big stuff. He’s comfortable being a leader and making decisions, regardless of whether or not he’s good at it. But once he is legitimately good at it, it’s like he’s in his natural element. And this of course naturally extends to his relationships and the bedroom.

Aside from the fact that I think under particular circumstances he would make a great Dom, he’s just better at giving orders in bed. But it’s not really about the ‘I’m in charge and I get to make you do whatever I want,’ that alone doesn’t satisfy him. It’s the trust behind that willingness to submit and acknowledge him as a superior that really does it for him. It’s your confidence in him to use those titles that get him going. Which is why I think when you get all whiny and vulnerable physically underneath him, where you are legitimately at his mercy, it just adds to the whole thing. He is predator on the food chain, sex is just another show of power — that only you get to experience. And it’s never in a malicious way, always more in a ‘look at how capable of protecting you I am because I have control over my aggression’ way.
