OK, fun stuff!
Here's my original LiveJournal icon, from back when I was a lot grumpier:
And here is the original illustration that my current profile pic comes from (drawn and signed by my headmate, Ian - they/them, colored by Brenna - she/her):
Autistic Flirting: So it seems that I’ve picked up another one of your stims. I do this [demonstrates] now, when I think of you. Because I’m happy. Because thinking of you makes me happy.
"Here to Stay" by Lenka PROBABLY wasn't written from the perspective of being a system, but if you're plural it's really hard to listen to the lyrics and not think of it as all about plurality. Particularly about banding together and cooperating as a system that survived something.

I started making a comic about how long I sometimes wait in the left turn lane.

Thesupersquirrel: just a moment while this syncs up.
Erik: I love that. Things only used to sink DOWN, but now we sync UP!
Me: Yeah, since we invented Ys.
Erik: *makes amazing and indesipherable face*
Me: I knew you'd either love that or hate it!
Erik: And I DID!
Hey folks, I'm going to continue taking most of the rest of the year off to help my author kick start her own non-fiction writing project. She's been working her heart out to help me tell my story, the least I can do is return the favor in her hour of need. (My story can wait - time flies funny in Fairport and Jam, after all.)
And so, I'd like to take this post to ask you to help me to support Jonna Anne W. Sodt creating an autobiography and transition journal.
You can do this by simply sharing this post with friends who you think might benefit from reading her work. If you feel like providing monetary support for such a project, even better, of course! But, please don't feel obliged.
Anne will be posting current event updates and editorials to her public blog that you can follow, with links to the patreon page. Her autobiographical matterial will be subscription only, starting at $5 a month. This is to raise income for her housing, her family, and her health, after all!
Thank you so much.
And, if we can get her back on her feet, she'll be able to help me finish my story. We're both quite eager to do so!
My bike pannier smells very, very faintly of slightly-off banana.
I haven’t eaten a banana in ten years.
I think fenmere‘s creator needs to add this to her stockpile of evidence on the evil of bananas.
