Yes, Surah loses a lot of her skittishness and fear, but in turn she comes off as much more aggressive and abrasive (even when not trying to be).

Being covered almost head to toe in armor means there is less possibility of coming to harm at the claws of any other creature, making her much braver. But that wasn’t exactly a good thing.

Particularly back when Surah first started exploring the land above ground, she wasn’t the nicest monster.. She saw most others as threats and adversaries, and found it fun to threaten and bully any creatures that crossed her path. Consequently, Surah earned quite a bad reputation and fear from others, especially those nearest to the desert she hangs around in.

...but Surah eventually found herself to be quite lonely when everyone hated and avoided her entirely (of course for obvious reasons, but Surah is not the best at connecting actions to consequences). No one dared go near her; In fact, that area was practically deserted for a time, so long as she was there (until another elder dragon “chased” her away).
