Anyways, here's the summary I mentioned earlier, and the possible replacement.
Original:
Most of the employees knew the place was a little shady, from the layers of NDAs to the nearly human AI, and not to forget the cutting of corners to cheapen the costs. Regardless, the pay was enough to keep one's mouth shut, and keep them from looking for other work.
Including an animatronic engineer, and one of the very few human janitors. Until one of them found something they shouldn't have.
Stumbling across something made to be forgotten, hidden under layers of garbage, was their first clue that something was much more wrong with this place than questionable management choices. Something thought dead and buried, now awoken by foolish curiosity.
It wasn't until that fateful night, the pair of otherwise unremarkable employees found themselves snagged in a web not meant for them, two new cogs in the machine.
An inconvenience, for sure, but the rabbit wouldn't be so easily phased by the added challenge.
---
Possible rewrite:
Curiosity is a sin in the place where secrets are burned and buried. Bodies meant to rot under piles of garbage, lines of code ever so slightly out of place.
Unfortunately, humans are naturally curious.
All it took was a little unintended overtime, for a pair of unremarkable employees to find themselves snagged in a web not meant for them, two new cogs in the machine.
An inconvience, for sure, but the rabbit wouldn't be so easily phased by the added challenge.

Which is more appealing to you?

Possible Rewrite
Edit: also feel free to give me your thoughts why you like one more than the other or how I might improve either etc. on the post or in my inbox. I'm always trying to improve my writing and that includes writing interesting summaries, and I want feedback.
If I make art for a fic, where should I put it?
Start of the chapter
End of the chapter
Where the scene shown is depicted (middle of fic)
As a link in the notes (image not embedded into the fic)
Clarification: This would be art I made for my own fic, for each chapter.
The Graveyard Shift - Chapter 1
The two employees go about their daily work, but the mundane tasks get disrupted by an unsettling discovery.

Finally got around to finishing this silly little thing I started like over half a year ago. You don't need to read the other fic in the series to understand it. Hope u enjoy!
