remembered my drow oathbreaker from a few years ago, 2024? didn't get to play her much :,) but she was pretty. Her name was Talis and she was a recent ex-lolth paladin, her sister died and it kinda pushed her away from the faith and after a few years of doubting Lolth she finally had the means to escape with the help of some male drow wizard (he gave her a cursed item shhh, that never played out, the campaign fizzled out) but she was fun. I drew my BG3 character!!!
Avalyn Glacis, a skilled drow assassin with Mastery over ice, was devoted to Lolth, atleast until she was tasked to kill some innocent family who found themselves seeking refuge in the underdark. Frustrated by what she believed was a disservice to her abilities she led the family to safety, defying her queens orders just so she could await the drow assassins. As an elite, she knew that Drow assassins are superiorly trained and make for far more interesting fights than the weak and frightened (surface dwellers). After being branded a traitor, Avalyn rejected her loyalty to Lolth, vowing to fight against those strong enough to believe they could subjugate the weak. Her path took a surprise turn when she was captured by mind flayers and infected with a tadpole, intertwining her fate with a rag tag group as she seeks to find a cure and to fight against one of the strongest creatures....an elder brain.

She is my war cleric of Eilistraee that is learning how to be good and not a murder hobo for the Curse of Strahd game that I'm in. Somehow she is the smartest one in the party with an INT of 11 (oh no) and she is BARELY tolerating the himbo men around her. She's not sure how she ended up in the service of a young noble lord, she never agreed to this, and yet everyone views this short human fighter as the one in charge. She hates the paladin because he's loud. She's fine with the barbarian because he shares the same interest in violence. She gets along with the other two cleric ladies because where else is she going to find a shred of sanity?
We've only played one session and she's already my favorite character I've ever made. Hopefully she doesn't die when we go in the "Death House" lol
