Seeing both authors interact, I couldn't help but imagine how the characters of God-Cursed and Cantata would act if they met (sending this to both of ya XD).
I'd imagine Bayram and Duri immediately start competitively flirting, Zhan is in one corner listening to Calliope talk about her inventions even if they have no idea what a lot of what she's saying means, Corinne and Oswin discussing how to get everyone back to where they belong and what to do in the meantime, Vicente getting trapped by Nathaniel in a conversation he enjoys despite himself, and Rune gently discussing with Coda methods of treatment to help soothe any residual pain from his injuries.
Also Kip and Dov chatting with Thaleia and Jonah about the woes of raising spirited kids while the team pets play in the background (and Evelyn gets dragged into the fun despite her protests)
Hahahaha! You are correct on all these pairings! 🤣
It’s come up before in this post here, and I too think Bayram and Duri together would make a great team! 😆
Oh my gosh, Kip, Dov, Jonah and Thaleia all together comparing child rearing woes is adorable! I’d love to see that!
But seriously, @wings-of-ink is an amazing author and I am in love with her characters and world. This ask makes my heart happy! 🥹❤️

'Words unheard by her, for her ears could not catch what the wind took. It was in that moment when she realized she had to do with the wind of the East, howling in the mighty skies with its ancient and unforgiving voice, overpowering all sounds ever made in its presence.'
or
'She was off not giving a shit. Why the others were giving their shits was totally their problem. She ain't fucking with that as much as she could possible not-fuck with it.'
Long before the realms had been born from the great darkness of what was once our universe, the first God [Data Expunged] created his first daughter the celestial goddess of Malice,
she was exceptionally pretty but also had the smarts and fighting prowess of a spartan soldier,
her mind was unparalleled when it came to prep time, warfare and stategizing, her people, the Malaciryans were equally as adept in warfare strategizing which is why their armies were one of the strongest in twelve realms.
Her current mortal incarnate is Neagen of the Heathens clan. Like any other incarnate, she has passed on some of her powers to him, those consisting of: sharpened state (when active the incarnate mind goes into over drive, planning tens of steps ahead of time), sharpness (a primary Damage and movement speed boost). Red full moon (a brainwashing move that lasts 0.25603 seconds int he real world but for the afflicted person it lasts a day)

I changed the first chapter cuz I didnt really like how I wrote it so hear you go.
CHAPTER 0
“This is a story, but it isn't just any story,
Its.. is a story about forbidden love and foreseen betrayal,
A story about allies turned enemies and enemies turned allies,
A story about grand kingdoms and humble villages,
A story of peace and war, of friends and foes,
A story of the moon and the sun,
A story of magical proportions
A story for the ages if you will,
It's a story unlike any you've read before,
This story… This is my story,
Its the story of Devisturayn Kauzlen,
The boy who ate a dying star.”
Chapter 1
Demons, Angels and Dead Men Walking.
It was the very start of December and Calgary was already bustling, Christmas was a few weeks away-mind you, and snowfall began much earlier than expected. Shops had already set up their Christmas decorations and started their discounts. Devi didn't care for it, in fact he was incredibly annoyed by it.
Devi did not care for these human activities not because he is heartless, but simply because he wasn't a human, although looks do deceive, they have since the dawn of time. Devi did have a human appearance, but some parts were different, his eyes were an alluring shade of amaranth and not a single blemish on his face besides the scar on his left eye which by a miracle did not leave him blind, his hair was a layered mix of dark mahogany and neon magenta highlights, moreover, his frame was fair lean although not visible under his coat.
Finally he entered an ornate looking bar, not too crowded but not too barren either, he sauntered to a stool and asked the bartender, “Yeah, can I have a whiskey? Fill the glass please, thanks.” The bartender gave him his drink.
“Busy day huh?” He questioned.
“You could say that..” Devi answered, sighing.
The bartender had a fairly pale complexion, his eyes looked like they were dead inside, the man's hair had completely covered his left side although scarring was visible coming from his mouth. “How about you?” Devi asked.
“Oh you know, serving drinks left and right to whoever comes inside, anyways it's my end of shift will get someone else for you” he added. As he quickly walked into the back room, Devi's eye caught a purple glint coming from the bartender's hand, which wasn't a good sign, beings from other realms being on earth never is the greatest thing that can happen,
His hand was a glowing rich mauve that narrows down the species. He's got a human appearance but the rich mauve indicates a Chaoswalker or Voidling…
He thought, his eyes narrowing, almost getting off his seat before the door jingled and another person entered the bar. She was exceptionally pretty, she had piercing light azure eyes as well as raven black hair with pink extremities. But what really caught his eye was the golden halo floating over her head. “Fucking great first the Chaoswalker now a Divinitrian...” he muttered under his breath. The woman sat next to him, unzipping her jacket and tying the sleeves around her waist and engaged in conversation with Devi. “You're not from these parts, are you?” she queried.
“Not really no.. I'm guessing you're not from here either?” he asked back.
“So you noticed the halo huh… you here to kill me?”
“I could ask you the same thing, did the emperor Michaelis send you to assassinate me?” He snarled. His amaranth eyes narrowing but also emitting a somewhat ethereal glint. “Oh please if i wanted you dead I’d have killed you the second my eyes laid on yours…” She declared.
Devi rose from his stool, reaching for something in his coat before the bartender from earlier came out of the back door. “Apparently my boss needs me to work overtime.” he turned to the Divinitrian Woman. “Hello milady, what can I get for you?” he asked with a gentle smile spreading on his lips.
“Get me a Piña colada please.” She asked.
Devi snickered “In this weather..?” “That a fucking problem?” The girl asked.
“No, no, not at all! Just unexpected for this weather.” He answered.
Devi sat back down and asked. “Hey get me another whiskey, fill the glass too.. Thanks. So! I never got your name, Divinitrian?”
“It's Angel.” she replied.
“Just Angel huh? Alright Angel, just what are you doing all the way out here? Earth sure is a long way from the realm of you halo bearers.” Devi queried.
“Why would I tell you? I'm not gonna spill to a Malacyrian like you.” Angel replied
“I'm hurt, also if you're not gonna tell me why you're here on earth will just have to kill you–.”
“If you two are gonna fight, I suggest you chaps do it outside.” Said the bartender who just finished making Angel’s drink and setting it on the counter. Angel took her drink and sipped on it slowly. “And you are?”
“My name is William Atlas, pleased to meet you.” He replied courteously.
“And you, sir?”
“Devi, Devi Kauzlen.”
“Wait you’re Devi Kauzlen? The prince of Malaki–that Devi Kauzlen?” Angel asked, slightly baffled. She immediately rose from the stool and with a flicker of golden light, a trident appeared in her hands, it was made of a lustrous material with strange, shimmering gildings.
William was taken aback before revealing his own weapon, a scythe made of a black, nail-like material while being held by a tangle of thick, black roots.
“If the prince of the strongest Kingdom in Malacyria is here, it's never just for tourism… Why the fuck are you here!?” Angel lashed out, gripping her trident tightly, her eyes narrowing.
All the other customers in the bar fled the second those two drew their weapons. Now that the bar was empty, Devi followed suit by revealing what was in his coat, a pair of cleavers made of an almost pitch black material glowing with an ethereal crimson hue, all three of them stood still for only a moment waiting for someone to make the first move.
Just then, William hopped over the counter and brought his scythe down towards Angel's head, Angel blocked with her trident, Devi dashed towards William and sliced at his arm, William swatted him away with the back of his weapon, Angel kicked William in the gut making him double over, then knee kicked his face. She turned her attention to Devi who took a whiskey bottle in hand and hurled it towards Angel, she parried it with her trident, but while doing that Devi closed that gap between them leading to her getting a rather large cut on her cheek, Devi uppercutted, She blocked, she jabbed with her trident impaling his shoulder, William swung his scythe horizontally, trying to hit both of them, Devi used his cleaver to weave his attack upwards pushing the trident out of his shoulder, William was sent backwards hitting his the back of his skull on the counter knocking him out.
Devi kicked Angel in the shin, making her fall down, turning her over with his foot before kicking her unconscious.
Devi patted his coat with his uninjured arm before sitting down at the counter, pouring himself a glass of whiskey, full glass as usual and drank, waiting for the other two to wake up so he could question them.
The bar was barren and dirty. Stools flipped over, glass and drink scattered across the marble floor, the faint stench of blood spreading in his coat.
Devitsurayn Kazlen of Malaki thinks maybe he made a mistake, what if this draws too much attention, what if Divinitria finds him and takes him, takes them? He couldn't stop thinking about that day, that day on the beach with his north star, the day when that star died and he was left lost in the abyss, the day that abyss gazed at him, the day he gazed at her.
Devi took a sip of his drink before looking down and saw that Angel was slowly regaining consciousness.
