With Lotus it's fair. Because it's the fans that make his own lore for him and I understand that not everyone is able to/wants to separate him

but Rurik literally had a name change because Lasser saw him as a separate oc and wanted to develop him as something more than another Palette 💔

rurik is the one who uses nicknames all the time (angel, pretty boy, love, dollface, etc)...which means that whenever lotus uses a petname for him (usually like, babe) hes a pathetic little loser about it

yknow that one tweet that says "the best ships are the ones where the 'me and the bad bitch i pulled by being autistic' meme works both ways"? yeah. yeah that.

lotus is a biter,,he is gnawing on rurik, constantly. not even in a cute way, its just teeth teeth more teeth. (rurik still thinks thats cute anyways)(bc he is a freak and weirdo /pos)

since lotus has a very alternative music taste i like to think (as a grunge enjoyer myself) that he got rurik into grunge at some point. i think they should listen to soundgarden together. as a romance thing.

i think lotus would be really into horror (obv) but i like to think that since rurik doesnt do well with jumpscare horror (for obvious reasons), that lotus got more into psych/analogue horror bc rurik has an easier time with it

ruriks sleep schedule is (except for some insomnia issues) mostly average, but lotus is definitely a night owl; sometimes rurik will wake up in the middle of the night to find lotus curled up on the floor reading

i think rurik would take really good care of lotus's cat. (lotus finds this very cute)

they are both very accommodating of each others health issues, both physical and mental; rurik pesters lotus into using his cane when he needs it and drinking enough water, lotus holds rurik like his life depends on it when things just get to be too much for rurik. lotus does his best to be understanding about ruriks hypersexuality and rurik does his best to be understanding about lotus's did. taking care of each other is a two-way street

lotus's did gives him pretty bad amnesia. he writes everything down to make sure he wont forget it - he has dozens of lists and notes and scribbles of things about rurik that hes scared of forgetting, and he looks over them every once in a while to make sure he remembers everything he can about his partner.

this isnt all of my hcs obviously but ill post other things when i think of them lol
