✨ Kitten Life Milestone: The Adult Food Transition! ✨

It's an exciting time when your little furball starts to look more like a miniature adult cat. But knowing when can a kitten eat adult food is crucial for their long-term well-being!

Here's the lowdown:

Timing is Key: Most standard cat breeds are ready for adult food around 12 months old.

Why Wait? Kitten food is packed with extra calories, protein, and vital nutrients (like DHA!) that support rapid growth, bone development, and brain function. Adult food simply doesn't have the same high-octane fuel!

Large Breeds: Got a Maine Coon or another big cat? They grow slower! Keep them on kitten food until 18-24 months.

The Gentle Switch: Don't swap bowls overnight! Gradually mix adult food into their kitten food over 7-10 days. This keeps their tummies happy.
