#feeling positive

There's less telling instead of showing in 7.1, and most of the telling it makes sense for it to be that way. They even remembered the Echo is a handy storytelling device sometimes!

They remembered it's fun to have dialogue choices that reflect a personality besides 'bland.' Dusk was allowed more opportunities to seem like himself, rather than a generic stand-in, in the first few cutscenes than he did for most of Dawntrail's MSQ, and it made me happy. It's such a small seeming thing, but it makes a big difference for me!

Wuk Lamat is back to levels where I don't feel like she's my uncomfortably clingy friend who won't give me space, and I'm so glad, because I do like her when she's not attached at the hip and bulldozing over all the other characters. She's still there, still important, still leading when it's a time she should be, but she's not overbearing at all. It feels more like an ensemble cast to me again, with some characters getting more spotlight than others as usual, and I think that serves her better in addition to everyone else.
