Oh helloooo three delicious tacos and cod cakes from @boxcarcantina ! 👋🏼😜 Opened in 1994 - they feature “Northern New Mexican cuisine” different from “South-west/Tex-Mex food,” (being a different heritage with different cooking style) they describe it as a blend of the three cultures—Native American, Spanish and Anglo-European. I guess that’s where the cod cakes come in! Lol. 😝Everything was v yum - 3 soft tacos came with pork, chicken and beef (+ cheese and side of rice and beans)! You can also see they love their taco shell bowls, haha - that cod cake dip was good. This place was BUSY when I came with my friend a couple months ago. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait. Was a cute cozy little bar off to the one side of the restaurant. There were def a lot of kids/families dining and pretty loud in the place just as a heads-up.
