I had a lot of fun making this, it was for my graphic design class, so if you have any critiques I would love to hear them! I'm still learning so I'd love feedback
welp that's enough interest imo to plan the event. Talons In His Mouth Tuesdays was a dumb joke I wrote that now, I guess, needs an event. workshopped prompts a little with @navigatorsghost (Rath's prompts in bold below) and haven't made a graphic and submission guidelines yet so still accepting feedback for potential changes. current prompts - gen / 18+ - choose one or both but mark and tag appropriately on posting There are 5 Tuesdays in September so: WK 1 (Sept 1st): Apple / Monster WK 2 (Sept 8th): Games / Only One Bed WK 3 (Sept 15th) : Immortal / Chains WK 4: (Sept 22nd) Rules / Gore WK 5: (Sept 29) Loss / Worship fanart of all kinds, fanfic, meta, podfic are all acceptable submissions. 18+ art or fic must be tagged as such and linked to on A03 or somewhere off-site, you know how tumblr is. Must be new material. AI-generated is not accepted but I am also not going to check.
All ratings accepted. All readings of the pairing or friendship are fine. Clearer standards will be posted with submission guidelines. Would be pleased with any feedback.
On the future of the awards
As the year closes, it's time to reflect on how we want to proceed into the next one. As you might have seen already, our dear Ray is stepping down from the awards for personal reasons, which, even on its own, is a development to be taken into account.
We are happy to report that this year's awards ran smoothly, with minimum nastiness. We've got some lovely feedback and we know there are some people who genuinely enjoy the process. That said, there are a few things to keep in mind going forward:
The number of votes has been dwindling each year, and there is a significant portion of the fandom that does not participate in the awards. While we respect everyone's right to abstain from participation, we are wondering if, beyond any sort of personal reasons, lack of time etc., there might be something in the way the awards are run that they disagree with. So:
Whether you participate in the awards, but even more so if you don't, we'd like your feedback. Send us an ask with your constructive criticism - is there a change you'd like to see? Something that would make it more likely for you to participate? We will examine all suggestions, and if you want the ask to be anon and/or to remain unpublished, that's also possible.
If we are to continue, we need at least one more volunteer. Not only to share the workload, but also to brainstorm ideas, double-check, and offer some sort of guarantee that it's not just one person making stuff up behind the scenes. So - if you enjoy the awards and are interested in helping out going forward, please let us know. You can DM the blog or send an email at [email protected]. Your messages and identity will be kept confidential whether we go forward together or not.

I can't be the only one who has opened a manuscript to "do a quick edit" and somehow ended up changing three chapters instead.
How does a quick edit turn into a full rewrite every time?

Trying to figure out my teen Pearl design, I originally wanted to give her trousers and that is my favourite design out of the three personally because of the shape language but I’m not sure if it’s too far from the original design or not…
I would love to have some feedback on what design people think is the best :D
I’m trying to go for a mix between the traditional channeling clothes and more modern trendy clothes to show Pearl’s desire to keep to tradition while also her desire fit in with other teenagers idk
Also if there are any bits of one design which you think would look better on another one or if you think they should be a different colour or whatever let me know in the comments pls I need feedback
