My first cake in my new oven is baking!!! This oven is very different than any other oven I've ever used. It has no bottom element and it has a fan. And, the cake cooked 5 minutes faster than usual. Definitely, different... It looks good and smells great so I'm very hopeful and excited to try it!! I made a carrot cake and I'm going to frost it with cream cheese frosting. I am just making a sheet cake this time because it's easier, and I love the cake to frosting ratio of a sheet cake. I'll bake a tiered cake next time I bake a cake. If this cake comes out right, I'm going to try cream puffs, next!! I love cream puffs!! 😋❤️🥕🎂🍰🙏🏼I can't wait until it cools to see if it's good so I'm going to go steal a corner of the cake. I'll be right back.... oh, my, my!!! That cake is so moist, light, and airy!! It's delicious 😋 😍 It's official... I love my new oven!!! ❤️❤️ I need another piece of that cake... time to make some frosting!!! 😁🤗🤣😋🥕🍰❤️
The oven thermometer said it was off by 50°, but the cake came out very well so I'm fine with that!!!
It's cooling, now. It looks so lonely... it needs some frosting so I'll be right back with a photo of my frosted cake... not gonna lie... I might have to eat a piece first, though😁🤣🤭😋😍🥕🍰 quality control is very important to me... so is cake!! 🥕🍰😋🤣 so I'll make the sacrifice and try a piece... it's a tough job, but someone has to do it... Petey just volunteered... 🤣🐕🤣
This is the finished cake. It's delicious. I didn't add a lot of powdered sugar to the frosting so it's very creamy... I like it like that!!😋🥕🍰❤️

I had 2 chicken breasts, but I needed a week of meals so I transformed them into a stir fry kinda pancit... I marinated the chicken in an Asian kinda sauce that I made, and with the addition of many veggies and some rice noodles, I created a big pot of delicious food!! It's very healthy, and it was fun and easy to make. Thankfully, I've been dirt poor, in the past. It taught me how to stretch out my food in an inexpensive and tasty way. Check out what I made....
That little bowl of chicken turned into this big bowl of healthy food!! I, now, have, at least, 10 meals, from just 2 chicken breasts... I might have to make one of those servings into a midnight snack because those pictures made me hungry😁🤣🤭😋
I added some sliced scallions on top and voila... dinner!! ❤️😋😋❤️

I got a close up of this adorable little bird!! It's not the one that looked into my eyes. I know every feather on that bird's face... this is a new one!! I need to hang more feeders so I can feed more hummingbirds!!! I love the sound that they make as they fly about, and they are charming individuals!! What a little tweetheart!! ❤️🕊❤️
It's raining sooooooo hard, right now, that you can see it in this video... I walked outside, anyhow, and I was very pleased to see the squirrel and the doves visiting the feeders. Petey was thrilled, too. You can hear her tags, on her collar, jingling, in the background. I love how many animals visit our yard, every day!! It is a great gift to Petey and me, and it makes us both very happy and grateful that we get to share our lives and what we have with them!! That's very important to me, and I think it's a gift to share my life and everything I have with others, as much as possible!!! I love doing that!! So much trust is being built, between all of us, every day... I'm looking forward to the day that we all stay in the yard, together, and no one feels the need to leave... I know, in time, that we'll get there... 🙏🏼❤️🕊🕊🐿🐕❤️🌳🙏🏼🏡🫂❤️🌷🌈🌞
