to all the male species here's the cheat code:
when you're wrong, you're wrong.
when you're right, you're both right.
when she's right, you need to apologize.
and when she's wrong, your phrasing was really rude.

when they disappointed me but it hurts sm bcs im more disappointed in myself for trusting them over my overanalyzations and intuition and expecting them to be the exception of the generalization when they were clearly not.
Feb 6 - overslept, then gamed a lot. Made chili and rice with a salad for supper.
Feb 7 - ran two loads of laundry. Did some more crocheting. Made veggie pasta with tomato sauce and mild Italian sausages for supper.
"Sweden was my first attempt at an album where recurring characters tell a story without worrying much about beginnings and endings; I had various big theories about narrative strategies at the time. I still have theories about narrative strategy but they are smaller theories, and denser, more nutritious."

Feb 7 - baked a loaf of San Francisco firehouse bread. Wound a skein of cotton yarn into two cakes, which was enough of a PITA that I only did the one skein instead of all three remaining; it was too heavy to want to rotate easily even after being placed in a smooth ceramic bowl for less friction. I was having to manually pull a length of yarn free, turn the winder enough to take that up, pull again, over and over again until enough yarn had transferred to the first cake that the ball would begrudgingly spin around in the bowl. Once the first cake was done I'd hoped I could place the remainder of the skein on my yarn spinner to have it smoothly unwind from there and transfer onto the winder, but nope, by that point the skein was loose enough to slump down and repeatedly trap the yarn and stop turning each time it looped under itself. So back to the bowl it went, and then of course the last few meters of it tangled up and had to be picked apart by hand. Not looking forward to winding the remaining balls; I might just not bother, since doing so took almost as much work as leaving it in the original ball to work from would have entailed.
For supper I made a family favorite we haven't had in probably a few years, Hungarian goulash.
Ive had to rebuild my life after a traumatic events too many times. And I am shit at manual work. No wonder why
Happy February.
