It's come to my attention, after listen to a lecture from my mother for a good while, that I ought to start planning for our future now. While that apartment in NYC might be a little out of our economic reach, I hear Atlanta's very nice for college students, and Emory's got a good writing program. After we make it, we can move to NYC. 

So in the future where we're both famous novelists, you possibly an artist, I think we ought to get a nice flat with several rooms. Now, in my head, we have a library with two wings-one for books, one for manga and comics. My moving-in present to you will be the entirety of the DNAngel manga as a commemorative present from 6th grade me, when I thought DNAngel was an American cartoon. I was very stupid. 

Now, on the subject of libraries, I think that the book section should have dark wooden bookshelves, somewhat on the more antique side, with a special shelf dedicated to all the lovely books John Green will have written by the time we move in. I'd like to request a Harry Potter shrine in advance, because something tells me getting a bookshelf with quotes carved in requires a special order. Then, the manga/comics section should be very bright and modern, in my opinion. Quite crisp and clean, ala 2009 Star Trek, a perfect compliment to all the colorful manga we will have accumulated by then. 

Both wings need secret rooms.

On the book side, I think that's where we should hide our office. Two spacious desks, one lightbox for you, a coffee/tea dispenser-brewer built into the wall, and surround sound for when we feel like being immersed in the works of Hans Zimmer to inspire. My one request is a very fluffy rug that I can easily flop onto when I've got writer's block, and possibly some wine/brandy in one of those crystal decanters so I can feel classy. There will be a chandelier somewhere. 

On the manga side, now that's where we'll go to waste time and be lazy in a super secret media room. Xbox, backwards compatible PS3 so we can still play Persona 4 and freak out over Yosuke and Disco Ninja Frog and Kanji being a derp. Also in that room there will be the biggest nerd movie/tv show/anime collection EVER. You will watch the series you missed out on. Be prepared for Doctor Who marathons. We can even invite our daughter (mostly so she can help me hold you down so you fully appreciate David Tennant's perfection). Also, Sherlock. There will be Sherlock, nightly Tiger&Bunny/No.6 parties, and Neil Patrick Harris everything. 

Bedrooms must include a trampoline to relive memories of our 11-year-old selves attempting to be cheerleaders. 

As for our pets, they must include: a fluffy brown cat named Hermione, a corgi named John Watson, a sleek black cat named Sherlock, a german shepherd puppy for you, a whole boatload of persona 4 puppies (NAOTORISEANDYOSUKEPLZ), and then Polonius the 4th. 

In the future since we'll be living in NYC and be able to go to New York Comic Con, we can cosplay all the things, including, but not limited to, Disco Ninja Frog/Yosuke. We can even cosplay as Cadel and Winston because at that point in time Sky Pirate will be a best seller and Winston/Cadel will be the new Nezumi/Sion.

This has been an extremely silly post because I love you and miss you and wish I didn't have to take the SAT this Saturday so we could hang out.
