He's been staring, hasn't he? Awkward. Upon getting made acutely aware, Cain slowly lifts both hands in a 'guilty as charged' manner, canting his head to one side. It all reverts back to nonchalance ere he plants himself onto the free stool beside Daniel, whom he believes to recognize.
" I was uncertain at first ", he trails off, taking a moment to order a drink. Then returns his attention to the man so bravely calling him out prior. " You wrote that book about this tragic vampire patchwork family, am I right? "
