Nerdanel has white ribbons as her craft is sculpting and stonecarving - I am slowly figuring out my craft = ribbons system - but she only wears them in formal settings, such as when she meets FĂ«anor in court before they married.
FĂ«anor is wearing black and white, both expensive colours and stars, while I donÂŽt think the eight pointed star had become his symbol yet, I still think he used it, as it is a very common shape for a star.

Amusingly I have finished this Vermeer-inspired courtly portrait of Nerdanel commission Iâve been working on For A While on International Womenâs Day so enjoy, snack on, etc! Very happy with how this one turned out!
On the fashion front, late-Victorian inspired with the high frilled collar and brocade but I gave her a furry mantle because she deserves it.
