Lovelies, we made it. I am just glad to see that it is Friday. Training this evening, followed by Saturday and Sunday morning seshs-- hopefully, I can get a Zumba class in. O_O I have a friend moving away and another friend's hubs birthday party to attend. I plan to remain sober for all of it, so that will be new. Just wanted to send some love to everyone out there, maybe someone needs to be reminded that you hold more than you know. It's hard out in these streets sometimes. I finally weighed myself, only because I'm participating in this challenge and I was less than I thought but was hoping to be lower. So, I did beat myself up for a bit because that's what I do but I kept taking my measurements because I do think In order to get into the home stretch, I need more accountability and i hate it! Lol So here I am, a rainyish Wednesday in my fucking feelings like some raw exposed wound but I'm here, at least. I'm better off than where I was last December...and I have a little less than four months to wreck shit. I have come a long way from being winded just walking up the stairs to my apartment to not fitting in XXL and being ashamed. I spoke in therapy about how shame and fear parade themselves a lot in my mind and it is hard to show up and put the work in (some days are better than others) but I do it. For August, I didn't do that bad. Got into the two-a-days, I worked out 5-6x a week, practiced French and started working towards a side hustle. And stretched, lord did I do that. Stumbled on the alcohol (whoops) but didn't go overboard and only gave into french fries twice but I'm okay with not being perfect. Going to keep the momentum going and adding in some new goals for September. Way too tired for a gym selfie. Ended up on the express train and had to backtrack back into the city for two of Ms. Tina's classes. Not feeling the strongest today but the energy from her and the class got me into the groove. Sometimes you just give yourself over to the process and put your mind on autopilot...and just have fun. Mood today = bawss bih. Taking another rest day because tomorrow is going to be free training sesh in the morning, followed by Ms. Tina at night. I may do yoga to calm my ass down because I need it.
