[note: a lot of the ppl listed below have some chinese ancestry bc 1) chinese ppl have been around in the philippines even before colonialism, so most filipinos actually do have some chinese ancestry, though most of us won't necessarily consider ourselves chinese-filipino; and 2) the philippine entertainment industry favors mixed people. see reason 2 for why there's a significant number of ppl here with white ancestry too]

cristine reyes - starred in propaganda films for a filipino dictator, which helped his son rise to power again a few years ago
bela padilla - posed for a disgustingly racist and antiblack men's magazine cover where she was "stepping out of the shadows" (the "shadows" in question were other models painted in black)
klarisse de guzman - blackface; used the n word
joyce pring - proud conservative; said that the lgbtq+ community will go to hell, and promotes conversion therapy until now
beatrice gomez - embraced the local "isr@eli culture when the miss universe pageant took place in isr@el

ayn bernos - has a very progressive public image, but liked her friend's post about how finding god taught her that feminism/women's rights are evil... maybe she was just supporting a friend who survived a tough time, but ??? i mean... ew, still.
