Reading one of those fun statuses on facebook where everyone is fighting this one useless piece of flesh and bone and you see at least 3 family members decided to get involved......this is why my family has the reputation they do. I swear they always get involved in fights that have no concern with them.

i posted this to facebook and it gained approval and disproval from difference people. i was quick to point out though that i neither disproved it nor endorsed it, but was pointing out how the spectacle made me feel and the more prevalent question emerged: why did it have to come to this for a large population to pay attention/care about the primary point?
personally and specifically, it made me realize i do care about animal testing, and therefore i need to practice it and get involved instead of feeling helpless and motionless. but still the feeling of unease remains, and the question still the same. i suppose time will reveal my true opinion on why we should or should not use the spectacle.
is it creepy that i find the best thing on facebook is reading the pointless fights that happen on it?
