#faye's path

I believe in an Afterlife, a something after for the human soul, but I’m not entirely sure of what it is. I don’t think there is a specific place that spirits go like a heaven or something like that. I think that, past death, your energy gets transferred and becomes one with the rest of the earth’s energy. Whether or not you become a spirit (ghost), or become part of the earth’s other energies (the water flowing, a tree growing, part of a gem), I think it depends on what kind of person you are. But I definitely believe that your spirit becomes one with the rest of the energies of the world. 

Absolutely! I always have believed in an ‘other side’, both in natural vs. supernatural and the life vs. afterlife debates. In terms of supernatural, I just think of anything ‘supernatural’ as a kind of magic and science that we have yet to explain or experience. In the whole world and universe, to say that anything ‘absolutely cannot does not exist’ is, in my opinion, close minded. I cannot disprove anything, and with the way I feel and interact with the energies around me, I feel there is definitely something supernatural about the world around me, if I look close enough and keep watch.

I think once I got the hang of divination, I would read for others but only friends or family. If I am pretty good at it or are confident enough in my readings that I can extend the offer to friends and family, I would be happy to read the cards or their tea leaves for them. I don’t talk about my practice to anyone really, I don’t even think I’ve told more than a handful of people that I have an interest in it/practice it. But, in time, I think this would be a good way to bond with them  and let them into that part of my life. Get them used to the idea in a small way rather than bombarding them with everything at once. 

I am trying to get into divination! I have a cup of destiny which I still haven’t used yet! I’m waiting for a time where I feel really happy and positive and right now I’m at an emotional low and super busy. And I plan on buying a set of tarot cards as a little graduation present to me so I don’t yet practice divination but I do plan on practicing! 

I am right now a solitary witch and I intend on staying this way until I feel much more confident in myself! Though I would be interested in perhaps joining a coven in the future.

This one makes me think a bit- I do like the ideology behind ‘in it harm none, do what ye will’ (Wiccan Rede) when it comes to accepting all types of people. And I am certainly a believer in some sort of karma- more in the sense that if I put positive energy out, positivity will reflect back on myself (also with negativity). In my every day life, I try to stay positive in all situations, make peace with my struggles and strive not to harm anyone. I will say if someone is harming me, I never will plan on using magick on them (hexing, cursing etc) as I don’t feel comfortable using energies against someone else. I always strive to just talk the situation out and bring positive energies towards myself to help me get through it. That being said, I’m not a push over, I will stand up for myself, but in doing so, I don’t believe or feel comfortable with casting negative energies/wills/intentions on another person. It’s just not who I am. 

Since I am so new, I get most of my path pulling from the Wiccan tradition because that’s the majority of the books I have studied recently. However I feel the need to explore more general Pagan paths and focus more on my spirituality over following a specific religion. So my specific path is undetermined BUT it follows a Paganism guideline. 

Still undetermined! Right now, I’m just an eclectic witch, but I’m definitely being drawn to a seasonal witch (most excited for summer magick!) and practicing faerie witchcraft (I mean, my given name is Faye- I feel like I at least need to explore it!). But who knows! I want to try everything.
