#fave lines

One of my fave lines in this part! This case sort of brings this game all about Phoenix and Simon. I do kind of like how they say it. He was suspected but the fact he presented it and the clear view of corruption at the time of the game just went smashing destroying any faith in the courts. We tend to forget, Phoenix definitely had a long list of enemies. It was a perfect opportunity to get rid of him. By extension, Edgeworth at the start of AA was also accused. Blackquill, in trying to protect Athena. Of course, the overwhelming evidence at the time, No Phoenix, they would get rid of Simon at all costs.

I know, they're talking about defense attorneys and prosecutors trusting each other to uncover the truh. Me, be like Miles and Phoenix.

We all felt Clay. Knew him, saw him even though he was not physically there!

Miles. This mad genius and still the hero of the day!

The fact Phoenix cannot curse to save his life. It's an adorable part we love about him.

Simon still has the best way of delivering evidence results!

This phantom is the creepiest phantom! Wright.

I know this is the part she realizes what Phoenix is insinuating but all I could think about is that defense attorneys makes the mooooost expressive faces known to AA games.

Apollo just makes you teary in all places.

Ooh, thanks for the ask, Anna!! This is a good question and one I love talking about.

The only WIP I've written any sizeable amount of words for is ATQH, and I've talked a lot about my favorite lines and scenes here. I also have a "favorite lines" tag here.

As for non-ATQH WIPs, it's a lot harder to narrow down, since I haven't written any/many of the scenes. But I will say that in general, my favorite scenes are the hurt-comfort (emotional or physical) and whump-adjacent scenes. (What can I say? I just love torturing my characters.)

Usually most of my WIPs have at least two big scenes that fall into that vein, if not sometimes more.

I'm pretty proud of what I have written so far of the prologue of High Fantasy WIP. (Read some snippets from that here and here.) I think my favorite bit from that scene are these lines:

I open my mouth again and this time the soul that comes out does so slowly. It drags slowly up my throat, leaving a bitter residue on my tongue. I spit it at the Lady’s feet, almost gagging on the taste. Monsters always taste terrible, especially the human ones.

I would not sing it for karaoke cuz it's definitely not that type of song.

Hmmm... describe the song in the worst way possible.. (that is difficult) french guy sings about masculinity and repetitively asks the listener questions about if he's being a boy in the right way.

And what do I associate with this song. I think a lot about the singer's life story, I read up about him, and he's really cool. It's a song that also really makes me deeply reflect on myself and society.
