here’s the original, which i still like best but assume is too dark for most folks:

baru- apostolosian. inherited integrity from tain hu but it only integrated with the right side of her body, more or less recreating the tulpa situation from the books. i feel like probably she also has her "own" divine and i havent thought too hard about it but gut says righteousness and shes kind of doing an ibex here.

svir- candidate from the autonomous diaspora aligned with Grace. Not sure which i would give him but I think it's probably one that either doesn't feature heavily in actual counter/weight or straight up does not exist in it.

yawa- truly cant make up my mind about whether she should be a recent recruit to the rapid evening or if she should have a longstanding loyalty to the rapid evening and has recently ingratiated herself to Grace/the diaspora. I think joining the rapid evening as an old woman better echoes becoming an exarch as an old woman, which i love love love about her. but the latter is, i think, more evocative of her spending her life working in the shadows to preserve her culture. got to keep having a think about how to do grandma justice....
