If you ever get an anon message talking about "FRA dogwhistles," know that they're coming from a fatphobe who's been claiming fat acceptance is some kind of eugenics movement against disabled people. ("FRA" stands for "fat rights activist.")

It never stops being funny to me how fatphobes will send me asks where they pretend to be wide eyed and well meaning. Recently one asked me why I feel targeted and overwhelmed by the constant deluge of glp weight loss medication ads. Because they are really just evidence that other people are happy and thriving due to losing weight on them. They ended their ask submission by asking if you’re really truly fat and happy then why do these ads make you upset?
So obviously this person is ignoring the entire concept of systemic fatphobia, the fact that fatphobia has a profit motive, the obvious predatory nature of direct to consumer drug company ads, and the entire cultural zeitgeist we currently find ourselves in. Their question really doesn’t need me to answer it because it’s clearly bait to get me to engage with them and make myself look like a fool in their mind.
I go check out their blog. Because that’s a thing you can do. People don’t seem to realize this. They don’t seem to realize that I can just click their name and see whether or not they are a well meaning person asking genuine questions or a fatphobic troll looking to start a fight. So I check their blog as one does. And it’s 100% about weight loss, every single post is about their own personal journey to achieve in their words “A normal BMI of 24”. Every post and everything they have reposted is about tips for starving yourself to shrink your body so that it falls into a set of arbitrary metrics based on a formula a Belgian eugenicist pulled out of his ass in 1832 as part of his quest to define the perfect male specimen.
Instant block.
Fatphobes why are you like this? Maybe the dieting has robbed your brains of the nutrition necessary for introspection, critical thought and self awareness. Or maybe you’re just bored and stupid.
antifatfatty is another obsessed loser who thinks they know everything and is so big brained guys. 17 so dont bother to talk to them but pre emptively remove them from your life.
"Anti haes" at least clowns do research smh

Also if we see a potential irritant like this would yall like a post like this? Too often people make burner accounts to harass fat people so Ive been hesitant but this one might be a long hall situation.
So basically: if we think a fatphobe is going to be persistent and not just a one and done do you want a blocklist post (like this) notifying yall about the person? It would be for blogs that are making their whole lives fatphobia and harassment only, not other issues. I dont want this to be a thing about our personal tastes. Plus you are always encouraged if you have the stomach for it to view their blog yourself.
I looked at the profile of the person you mentioned this morning and honestly, I hope they get removed from Tumblr soon because not only are they discrediting Willogenic systems, they also have decided to go against polyamory and fat people
I sure hope so too.
And no in fact weight is not always a choice. This is coming from someone who is significantly underweight and can't do anything to change that. This shit still sounds exactly like the discrimination thrown at me for my weight even though I have a different weight problem and I hate what this person is trying to say here. This person needs to do some research into biology alongside plural history.
not to be the too woke friend or wtv but sometimes when I see a video of a woman being like loud and proud and just like comfortable and demanding in her own space (which is a beautiful thing that I'm very happy about) and everyone in the comments in praising her one of the thoughts most apparent in my mind is
"But if a fat person did this..."
and it sucks all the joy I felt about it before and I become very melancholic Abt it bc I know the tone of the video and the reception would be entirely different

fatphobic people genuinely pmo so bad because i have truly never heard more bullshit from anywhere else. what they get by shaming fat people i don't understand it is quite literally none of your business
fat ppl make me so mad
idk why it just makes me so mad when someone is fat like how r u so large i hate having to deal with them irl too
This is going to piss a bunch of people off but I'm tired of acting like some white skinny queer girls "solved" or are "solving" fat phobia by saying "just love yourself no matter what you look like! :3"
Like yeah that's a good sentiment and all but it doesn't change the fact that every single person of every single ethnic background, gender, nationally etc. INCLUDING those same white skinny queer girls treat you like a fucking monster, like some ugly wretched drain on society that is taking up too much space at every possible opportunity. I'm tired of acting like people are just not "loving themselves" or "confident" enough when society treats fat people like shit. And no, I am not just exaggerating, or being paranoid, there was an UNBELIEVABLE difference between when I was 300+ lbs and now (185) in the way that people made second glances, spoke under their breath, and just treated me like a second class citizen in general.
Like I'm sorry but I'm not a sociopath, the way people treat me matters even if I do simply "love myself".
