would my ogrillon monk qualify as a fat hero?
Absolutely! An ogrillon’s a half-ogre, right? Fat characters are often portrayed as monstrous in a way that is dehumanizing to fat people. But in a game like Dungeons & Dragons, which features a wide variety of creatures in heroic roles (such as dragonborn and tieflings), context matters. Your ogrillon monk sounds like they would make a great addition to Fat Hero Day.
Really quickly drawn for #FatHeroDay, fashionably 15 minutes late in my time zone, my Fallout 4 protagonist (and general Most Important Character Spanning Many Fandoms), Jayden, who is tall and fat and likes smiling and cuddling more than fighting but is a force of nature in a fight when he needs to. Probably feels bad about it afterwards. What am I saying, DEFINITELY feels bad about it afterwards!
ETA: I don’t know if Fallout is fantasy and therefore fits the theme exactly but uh, that’s what inspired this anyway. I could have drawn ANY other of his incarnations and that would have been more theme-appropriate but in my defence it was 10:30pm when I started and it’s been a long weekend. Also what a good event my gods.
(I saw a post for #FatHeroDay and I'm 100% about any excuse to show off my chubby babes! On the left is Karma, my BnHA original character, and on the right is Etzil, my original character from a Pathfinder campaign! They both also happen to be non-binary and fit on the asexual spectrum. I love them very, very much. <3)
So I’m a little late for @lair-master ‘s Fat Hero Day but wanted to throw my hat in the ring! This is Maxine Padalino, AKA Maxi Millions, my sadly unplayed Shadowrun character. She’s a former roller derby champ with robot rollerblade legs, who turned to doing crimes to support her family. Maxi is a feisty, sarcastic lady who’s handy with a fire axe and I really hope I get the chance to play her some day!

Goblins give her the creeps... Just a little doodle to start off some fun for @lair-master's #FatHeroDay. I definitely want to add some more for the occasion! If you'd like to participate in the fat appreciation drawings of fantasy heroes too, than feel free! The official #FatHeroDay starts 11/27 but I thought I'd start a little early out of excitement. Read more about this day @lair-master's blog.
This post is for @lair-master ‘s #FatHeroDay
I drew this a while back (before I cut my hair even); it’s a self-portrait of me as a D&D Cleric or possibly a Paladin. I am a tubby gal in RL and I see no reason why I wouldn’t be in Greyhawk or Eberron either. Yes, that IS a boob window, I keep my kittens in there.
