tea orange: what is something that your muse is fascinated with?

Unusual fighting techniques, foreign strategy, smithing, etc. Aerial combat fascinates him because he has neither commanded an aerial unit nor ridden a winged mount before, and he recognizes that it requires a completely different set of skills that he has yet to master. He’s also fascinated with the etiquette and practices of nobility, which may seem strange given that he is technically nobility himself. He’s very pragmatic so many of the nobility’s social mores seem nonsensical and impractical to him (donning oneself with ostentatious jewelry, for example), and yet instead of dismissing these practices, he enjoys observing them in play. This has contributed to his ability to dress and act the part of a high nobleman in settings that require him to temporarily set aside his identity as a soldier, and also to be rather adept at selecting gifts for his royal hosts.

silk: does your muse care about appearances much? do they spend a lot of time on their own appearance, or do they just go with the flow each day?

peacock blue: is your muse honest? what sorts of lies do they tell, if not? 

Belf can actually be said to be brutally honest, and won’t withhold the truth or his opinions from anyone who asks. Granted, there’s a level of (arguably one-sided, given who Sirius is NOT supposed to be) familiarity involved to motivate Belf to tell Sirius to his face to drop the mask for him right in their C conversation in FE12, but I don’t imagine Belf letting up much even to other, less familiar people (though the older he gets, the more careful he might be about telling someone off if they’re a high social status than him). He’s rather conservative when it comes to chivalry (or at least the romanticized version - he needs an authority figure’s orders to accept the less noble gray areas of chivalry, e.g. the “it’s okay to ambush people sometimes” idea) and has a low tolerance for lying. Better to know where one stands right away than to lose sleep trying to read the possibly nonexistent or twisted subtexts. I imagine this mentality makes him rub some palace nobles the wrong way, and the fact that Albert is also honest to a fault may have contributed to Helena’s departure.

crimson: how passionate is your muse about the things they love most?

((this is what I have been thinking of nonstop ever since @fatefulmaiden sent me that emoji ask earlier,

     ‘‘ A bunny, ’’ the statement falls flat, almost exasperated, raising a brow incredulously at the petite stranger. How did she even managed to lose her circlet to a little rodent, of all things? He bites back a remark, but he sighs.

Fernand tries his luck without questioning. She looked anxious enough, and it wasn’t as if he was doing anything interesting at the moment anyhow. His steps are light as he wades through some guests passing by. It doesn’t take long for the small creature to notice him, its head looking in his direction, ears alert. Was it nibbling the circlet now? Was it mocking him!? Oh, and there it is, back on his face— the scowl.

“Darts, eh?”

Levin stared at the wall of balloons, an almost contemplative smile on his face as he fiddled with one of the darts provided. The smile only broadened as he turned to face Deirdre; a bright beaming grin with an edge of mischief to it.
