Ma boi astalos is getting fried.
From the way things are looking it seems somewhat likely that Gammoth will be put in Wilds at some point, but my mind is struggling to figure out how that would work. Obviously the (at first glance) logical place to put it would be the iceshard cliffs, but if you think about that for more than five seconds, it doesn’t make much sense. One of the largest and heaviest monsters probably wouldn’t do well in an extremely vertical environment with unstable terrain
They could add a new environment with the expansion, but Iceborne already did a cold area, and Wilds already has the cliffs. Maybe they could put it in Wyveria? Who’s to say.
Now this might be my Michigan brain talking but I think it would be cool to maybe add a temperate evergreen forest type locale?? I don’t think monster hunter has done something like that before, and it seems like a good enough spot for Gammoth.
