Album Number Two Hundred Eighty Seven “Mardi Gras” is the seventh and final studio album by Creedence Clearwater Revival, released on April 11, 1972. Recorded after the departure of guitarist #tomfogerty , it was their only studio album as a trio, with the group also sharing lead vocals on select tracks. The recording sessions were marred by personal and creative tensions, and the group disbanded after a short U.S. tour to support the album. My copy is a 1983 reissue on #fantasyrecords - ORC 4518 (F-9404) Unlike previous albums, Mardi Gras had #stucook and #dougclifford sharing songwriting and production with #johnfogerty as well as their own lead vocal contributions for the first time. Reviews were mixed to poor. Album Number Two Hundred Eighty Five. “Cosmo's Factory” is the fifth studio album by #creedenceclearwaterrevival, released by #fantasyrecords in July 1970, and released as catalog number Fantasy 8402 – the same month as the single release of "Lookin' Out My Back Door" with "Long As I Can See the Light" on the B-side. The album spent nine consecutive weeks in the number one position on the Billboard 200 chart. My copy is a 1983 rerelease on Fantasy - ORC-4516 (F-8402) The name of the album comes from the warehouse in Berkeley where the band rehearsed early in their career.
