Yaztromo's Tower, in Darkwood Forest (Russ Nicholson, Titan: The Fighting Fantasy World, by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, Puffin Books, 1986)
Wizard of the White Tower Digital artwork by me, 2023
I think this tower would be a good continuation with the tiny city drawing I did.
It doesn't makes much sense, I'll admit and the colors are sketchy (I should have refrained from using both red and orange for accents). But at least it's done (October 2024) and I have a finished illustration :D
I imagine the roads to take to some landing stations that either use flying ships or trains that will go over the sea.
From The Tower
The outline for this was actually first drawn along side Resting Autumn and Station PL-475. Yes, it’s that old. I shaded it like how I’ve been doing some of my more recent stuff however. Overall, the piece has turned out well, but you can see a few hick-ups here and there. Not even close to my best work. But, there are good parts, and when I get something right, I can hit it out of the park. That pestle and mortar look great for example. Not sure what I’ll do next, BUT I’m sure I’ll find something. ^^

On our way back to Munich we stopped in in Landsberg am Lech to see the Mutterturm. Perhaps the best mother’s day gift ever, the tower was built by Bavarian-born but British knighted artist Hurbert Von Herkomer. In 1884 at the height of the gothic romantic revival, he commissioned the building of a tower in honor of his mother to reflect the medieval flavor of the town. The Mother’s Tower (Muttertrum) is straight out of a Grimm’s fairytale, with its gabled roofs and beautiful stonework.
