Thoughts on Recent Press Incident Involving Yin
The misinformation circus these past few days has been exhausting. I’m not a long-time fan, but I’ve seen how YinWar handle the press : always respectful, sometimes playful, but never anything like what’s being blown out of proportion now.
YinWar Has Always Shown Respect to the Press
Even when asked awkward or repetitive questions, they’ve never shown irritation. They listen, they answer, and they respect the people holding the cameras and mics. And many reporters respect them back. Because YinWar have earned it.
That’s why this entire situation feels like a slap in the face: not just to Yin, but to anyone who’s watched them build that reputation through consistency and humility.
⚠️ Context That Got Ignored
What happened recently wasn't just a misunderstanding : it was a clear mishandling by certain members of the press. Here’s what actually went down:
Yin was asked about a completely unrelated legal controversy involving someone else — while standing right next to the event’s executives. unfair and potentially damaging for someone not at fault.
From what I’ve gathered (this may not be confirmed), it had already been communicated to reporters that he would not take questions on this topic.
The question was still asked because some reporters decided to lob in a controversy grenade - completely inappropriate given the nature of the event.
Yin apologized and bowed before leaving. That’s grace, (not confusion. As certain media outet claims)
Staff stepped in and they pulled Yin away (again, misleading headlines about Yin “immediately leaving”) Then voices were raised, and remarks were shouted in front of everyone.
Some media outlets completely ignored this context, cherry-picked clips, and twisted the narrative.
???? Why ask this: “If You Don’t Answer, Society Will Question You”
Yin is not the accused, not the perpetrator. He simply works in the same company as someone who’s facing allegations.
And somehow... that makes him a target?
If “society” is demanding answers from bystanders, then maybe it’s time we ask better questions.
Prom’s Actions may have been Hidden
Yinwar likely knew Prom was involved with women. He's an adult, and that’s his private life. But that doesn't mean they knew about the abusive behaviour. That kind of harm is may have been hidden, even from close friends or colleagues. So no, knowing Prom doesn’t mean they knew everything They may have known the Friend, not the abuser.
Also, Yin and War don’t seem like the type to tolerate that- both have shown strong values, and as a small company, this kind of scandal would hurt them directly. Once the victims came forward, the company acted fast and removed Prom.
They may not have made a public statement (yet), but their immediate action speaks volumes and in this industry, that's rare and commendable.
The Pressure Is Misplaced
Fans have every right to be frustrated, but some (mostly haters or non fans) are now spiralling into unreasonable demands:
That YinWar make public statements about a case they’re not involved in.
That they unfollow people on cue to prove their stance.
That they change their company name , ignoring the legal complexities involved.
It’s giving:
“We want answers now, even if we’re asking the wrong person.”
For the record, Prom has been removed from the company. That alone involves legal documentation, contracts, reviews, and formal procedures. It’s not a school club where you just ghost someone.
This is the entertainment industry: statements have consequences. Unfollows, name changes, and declarations need to be timed and worded carefully. Why is that so hard to understand?
Silence doesn’t mean complicity.
Until YinWar speaks, or unless there’s proof of involvement- it’s fair to withhold judgment.
They deserve that. They didn’t create this mess, but they’re the ones being expected to clean it up instantly.
A Fraction of the Fandom Is Stirring the Pot
Guilt-tripping Yinwar for not “grieving loudly enough” the fandom itself is beginning to mirror the toxic behavior it claims to hate.
Not every action is a statement. Not every silence is strategy. Sometimes it's just legal advice, basic shock, or emotional processing.
Let’s not become the very pressure machine we’re criticizing.
Thank You to the Responsible Journalists
Not all media failed.
Some kept their tone respectful (as posted in clips above). They didn’t twist facts. They let the event stay about the event. To those outlets: thank you.
You’re the reason many of us haven’t lost complete faith in entertainment reporting. You’ve proven that dignified journalism still exists. Let’s build on that.
In Closing
No one’s saying we should ignore serious topics. But we can discuss them responsibly, without misplacing blame, sensationalizing trauma, or targeting the wrong people.
Stop adding extra villains to a script that already has one.
Yinwar are just artists caught in someone else’s storm. still expected to smile, pose, and answer to a public that doesn’t even ask the right questions.
Went to nearest YSL beauty store couple days ago. SA was soooo nice she let me try Libre and other perfumes then I told her I’m Austin fan, actually I’m here bc I want to try MYSLF 🤣
The smell was nice and unisex. Not too niche, complicated or too strong, just average good smell so I may buy it sooner or later 🫣🤣

The announcement came just hours before the band was scheduled to kick off the European leg of their tour at the Hydro in Glasgow. This tour is particularly significant for Blink-182 fans as it marks the band's first performance with the original lineup since Tom DeLonge's second departure in 2015. A Game of Emotions: Trea Turner's Resurgence through Philadelphia's Support
An Unexpected Turn in Trea Turner's Career Once a shining star and MVP candidate, Trea Turner's debut season with the Philadelphia Phillies was far from the dream he envisioned. His career took a swift detour, featuring a glaring .235/.290/.368 slash line, significantly below his standard performance metrics. Turner was not the same player who led the Washington Nationals to the 2019 World Series victory and later received MVP votes in consecutive years, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The Burden of High Expectations and a Hefty Contract Joining the Phillies on a high-profile 11-year, $300-million contract was a cause for celebration, but the joy quickly turned into an overwhelming burden of expectations for Turner. His form took a hit, and each error magnified under the scrutinizing gaze of the Philadelphia faithful. An infamous mishap during the high-stakes game against the Marlins escalated the criticism to new heights, clearing the path for Miami's triumphant comeback. I know he’s making $300 million so it’s unpopular to say that you feel bad for the guy but I legitimately feel bad for Trea Turner. Postgame interview was a tough watch, he’s in the cages until midnight. Just think he’s lost. A standing O on Friday would go a long way IMO. — Jack Fritz (@JackFritzWIP) August 3, 2023 An Unusual Response to Failure: Sympathy Over Criticism Yet, despite his struggles, Turner's remorse post the Wednesday loss stirred something unusual among the Philly's fans.
