“Sometimes I am so surprised how far the ship name “fankhx” has come. Because it didn’t just arrive out of thin air, I created it.

And the miraculous thing about fankhx is it was never intended to be a ship name at first. It was actually my attempt at a username. I wanted to go from ericcarrsoup to something that represented a new, current, and different me. I wanted a username that would combine my two favorite rockstars - Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent. I still dearly love them both. I had to brainstorm with peers and friends to find a good name. FoxAnkh? No it didn’t have the right sound. AnkhFox? Definitely not. We even tried doing something like Fox Invasion I think, there were a lot of ideas. Eventually, I had come up with a way to smash them together - Fankhx - and I could pronounce it.

Ever since then, I had tagged ship posts with fankhx and it spread like wildfire. Even now anyone who makes a post about eric and vinnie will tag it with fankhx and it and I can look at it like, wow there’s my child.”
